Our Robotics MENTOR:

Jeannette Milland Vigio

Professor Jeannette Milland has been working with the VEX Robotics Teams for eleven years now. In 2008 she was awarded the VEX Robotics Mentor of the Year. What started as a volunteer job due to her son's involvement in the school's robotics team as an 8th grader developed into a passionate way of life around robots. Now her son is a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and a captain of one of their robotics team while Professor Milland teaches Robotics and Technology at the University of Puerto Rico's High School (UHS), one of Puerto Rico's cutting edge laboratory school. This year she is mentoring four UHS teams competing at the VEX Challenge and one team in the VEX U (college level) robotics competitions.

She has a MBA in Technology Management from Phoenix University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Puerto Rico. She will become a certified Web Developer in March 2017 and recently started her PhD in Educational Technology at the University of Puerto Rico.
