Our team consists of four members, all of us who work very hard. We are all athletes as well, which restrics the time we have to work on our robot.
James Ackerman
In this team I do a little bit of everything, but I am the main programmer of the team. I make all the things related to the autonomous modes and the driver functions. I started out in 2014 and have been gaining experience since then, having gone to the World Championships twice. The decision for my future academic path has been drastically influenced by my time working with VEX Robotics. I wish to study Mechanical engineering in UPRM this following semester. My goals for this season are to increase the use of sensors in our robot and make some sick autons and programming skills, so we can qualify for 2017 Worlds.
Pablo Ceballos
I am the newest member of our team, having joined in June of 2016. I help out with the build of our robot whenever I can and i'm also learning to become a good coach for during the competitions. So far, I am interested in going to medical school to study dentistry.
César A. Lasalde
I am the driver/builder of the 2223G robotics team. After a year spectating my brother's tournaments, in 2013 I decided to form a team with some of my friends. Since then, we have had countless achievements and memories. Besides learning how to build a fully functioning robot, I have learned to be a responsible and dedicated person. Sometimes I even believed Vex changed me as a person. This competition has helped me define some of my future career options. For now, I will be applying to UPRM in a Biotechnology bachelor. My goals as the driver/builder are to execute in the heat of competition and to qualify to the 2017 World Championship.
Fernando Vázquez
I Co-Founded the team in 2013 with César, and we have gone a long way since that time. My primary function on the team is working on the build of the robot, and I always try to make wise decisions for the team. I wish to study engineering at UPRM in the future. I always say "The main goal isn't winning, but learning something new." But winning is fun too.
