The Work of Digital Activism

For this assignment, you are asked to find and research a specific digital movement that is linked to a cultural event. You should be able to convince your audience not only of the event’s significance, but also of importance of the rhetorical moves made by various groups to discuss, publicize, and/or persuade others to become involved in the movement/group/event. You can analyze both supportive and critical meaning makers. Using digital technologies of your choosing, you’ll create a digital text that documents, narrates, and analyzes a digital culture and the effect that digital culture has on the non-digital world.
