COACHES:
AUBREY BLAND - Aubrey played high school softball at Durant High School. While at Durant High School, she set three school records and was selected as a first-team all conference player in 2014. In 2013, she was named second-team all conference and was a key member of the team that won the 2013 Iowa High School State Championship. After high school, Aubrey attended the University of Northern Iowa where she played softball for the Panthers. Following her playing career, Aubrey has coached at all levels from youth softball to collegiate softball at Wartburg College. Currently she is the head coach at her alma mater Durant where she led a young team to a 10-5 record in her first season.
MCCALL ATWATER (Meade) - McCall graduated from Williamsburg High School, where she completed a phenomenal career on the diamond. As a Raider, McCall was a 5 year starter and letter winner, being selected to the WAMAC All-Conference Team three times. Following her career with Williamsburg, she lettered all 4 years and started all 4 years at Coe College. She not only experienced great success as a player, she has also found great success as a softball coach. In 2018, 2019, and 2020, she was a integral part of the Cedar Rapids Kennedy coaching staff, helping guide the Cougars to the MVC Conference Championship three straight times. The Cedar Rapids Kennedy staff has also been named MVC Coaching Staff of the Year all three years that McCall has been a part of the Cougars staff. This past season McCall and the Cougars won the Iowa High School State Softball Championship.
