In-lab Exercise (November 15th, 2019)

In this in-lab exercise, you will create a report to work with grade database.

You need to do the following:

1. Download this 14_Students_class_grade.accdb.
2. Add you into the Student table. Just Student ID, First Name and Last Name is enough.
3. On grade table (which is an example of many-to-many relation between Student and Course), insert another record.
   • StudentID: Your student ID
   • CourseID: 204100
   • Grade: The grade you want for this course.
4. Create a Report for Grade_Student query, using Report Wizard, with the following settings:
   • The report will be viewed from Student table.
   • The report will then be sorted by CourseID.
   • Make sure you can see the grades in the report.

Submission

Save your workbook to file with LAB09_inlab_studentid.accdb as the file’s name. For example, LAB09_inlab_500510111.accdb . Then, upload the file to homework submission website (http://hw.cs.science.cmu.ac.th), under your section. (701)

Take-home Assignment (due November 28th, 2019)

NOTE: Since December 1st is the final exam date. Please submit this early so you can have feedback and a chance to correct PARTIAL or REDO mark.

In this exercise, you will use relationship and tables to create yourself a final exam schedule.

You need to do the following:

1. Download this 14_Students_class_grade.accdb, or continue from your in-lab work.
2. If you have not done so, Add you into the Student table. Just Student ID, First Name and Last Name is enough.
3. Add subjects you have taken this semester into Course table.
   • Also, change the FinalExamDate field for 204100 to 2019-12-01 12:00PM and FinalExamRoom field to RB5401
4. Add your enrollments for the subjects you have added in (3) into Enrollment table, using your student ID and course ID as you have entered into Course table.
   • For example, if your student ID is 590415555 and your want to add an enrollment to course 204100, you should add an entry to table Enrollment with 590415555 as StudentID and 204100 as CourseID.
5. From Enrollment table, create a query that display your final exam schedule, displaying the following details for *only* the courses you have enrolled (It should check only enrollment that match your Student ID):
   • Course ID
   • Course Name
   • Exam Date/Time
   • Exam Room
