In this assignment, you will use conditional formatting to highlight useful information, and create charts other than column charts.
- Download lab07_data_en.xlsx workbook. It should contain 3 worksheets:
- About
- PM2.5 Data, which contains 3 columns of datam Date/Time, Time, and PM2.5 Data.
- Chart data, which contains 4 columns of data, X1, Y1, X2, and Y2.
- On About worksheet, write your name and student ID at cell C3 and C4, respectively. YOU WILL NOT GET ANY CREDIT IF YOU DO NOT WRITE YOUR NAME AND STUDENT ID ON THE WORKBOOK.
- On PM2.5 Data worksheet, use conditional formatting to highlight data under PM2.5 (column C) that is:
- between than 200 and 300, and
- more than 300.1, this need to stand out from the one above
- Create a new worksheet and name it Charts.
- On Charts worksheet, create a line chart from PM2.5 (column C) from PM2.5 Data tab.
- On Charts worksheet, create the following from data from Chart Data worksheet:
- Then, create a scatter plot from X1 and Y1. Write down the shape you see from the scatter plot on the chart title. You will know right away if you do this correctly or not.
- Finally, create another scatter plot, this time from columns X2 and Y2. Write down the shape you see from the scatter plot on the chart title.
You should have 3 charts at the end
Save your workbook to file with LAB07_inlab_studentid.xlsx as the file’s name. For example, LAB07_inlab_500510111.xlsx. Then, upload the file to homework submission website (http://hw.cs.science.cmu.ac.th), under your section.
