Please bring completed squares to the camp kick-off.
Plan a time for your unit to create a music video to be shown at camp: "Young women - please make a music video you'd like to share with us all at camp! Pull out your phones and get creative - make us laugh, make us cry, make us dance - it's up to you! We'll watch them together on the big screen at camp!"
Please deliver or send the completed video to Sister Joni Huff by the camp kick-off (if you need a little more time, contact Sister Huff)
Coordinate with Young Women leaders to help the girls learn the new hymn “Welcome Home.”
We will sing together at the camp kick-off and again as a group at camp. Practice may take place during Sunday or Wednesday meetings.
Attend the camp kick-off on April 11 and meet the Young Women in the level you will be camping with.
Help your unit choose and practice a song to perform at camp as part of the Singing Trees activity.
This may be as simple as a group Primary song or a more prepared musical number. The entire unit, a small group, or a soloist may perform. Guitars or other portable instruments may be used if desired.
Collect completed Medical Permission Slips and bring them to camp.
Plan a time for your unit’s Young Women to decorate beads.
Please bring completed beads to camp.
Organize a Secret Sister activity for your unit.
You may customize this activity to fit the needs of your unit. Gifts will be exchanged at camp.
Assist with camp supply logistics as needed (e.g., shade tents, tables).
Assist with transportation planning (carpooling, parent drop-off, etc.).
Learn the names of the stake YW in the level you will be camping with and be prepared to support them throughout camp.
Take care of YW needs - At camp the primary responsibility of leaders will be to take care of young women
Camp with an age level - Watch over an age level (we have levels 1-5).
Camp with this level, get to know the girls and foster camp spirit and inclusion.
