2026 Wallowa Gathering Registration

Dates: Thursday, May 7 – Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Location: Nez Perce Wallowa Homeland Longhouse (Homebase) 70956 Whiskey Creek Road Wallowa, OR 97885.

What to expect:

We will gather at lower elevation sites within a 10–30 minute drive from the Nez Perce Wallowa Homeland Longhouse (Homebase). You are also welcome to gather at higher elevations at a much further driving distance (like Zumwalt) on your own.

No experience is needed. We hope to connect experienced gatherers with beginning learners. A very limited number of digging sticks will be available to share.

*Any household/family unit that did not register prior to arrival are not guaranteed a stipend or mileage reimbursement.
