"I saw the word, 'BELIEVE' the whole way through the book and was impacted with how much Jesus and John (the author) wanted people, wanted US, to BELIEVE."

"I love His attention to details....The Lord is so intentional with every detail of our lives. We don't always see it right away, but nothing happens apart from His will, even those little things."

"I was struck by repeated examples of Jesus serving the people. Even Judas, who he knew would betray him....Also the strong emphasis on how God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are one."

"I was encouraged by how many times Jesus told others that He is God, and how He used His miracles, His words & others' testimony about Himself as evidence that He is, indeed, God."

"I was blown away by how many times Jesus said he didn't come on his own accord, he was sent by the Father.  Repeatedly, Jesus said he only says and does what the Father tells him to say and do. If Jesus, God incarnate, needed that kind of connection with the Father in order to do His will, how much more do I need that kind of dependence on the Lord and that level of seeking Him in order to do anything in His name and for His kingdom?"
