Goals: The workshop is open to the public (registration is required with NO registration fee). We invite speakers and audiences from academia, industry, community, start-ups and government stakeholders.

Identify a short list of important research/application topics in urban resilience, and identify priorities to be focused on the following workshops.
Connect participants and foster new research collaboration projects/teams for urban resilience.
Potential new proposals to funding agencies or private foundations.

The Theme of the 2026 Workshop: Urban resilience is the ability of urban socio-technical systems to withstand and recover from catastrophic disruptions while transforming towards sustainability. To address the pressing challenges in enhancing urban resilience, we plan to organize a series of annual workshops from 2026 to 2029. The 2026 workshop focuses on identifying challenges, showcasing existing solutions and discussing future opportunities in the areas:
