Day of Fair

2026 NCCTM Eastern Region Math Fair Schedule:

The Central Region Math Fair will be held in Flanagan Hall on the East Carolina University (ECU) campus in Greenville, NC (See General Information tab on this page for a map.)

• Park in the Charles Street parking deck, and follow the paths to Flanagan Hall. 

9:00 – 9:45am: Project Registration outside WTCC BEC 406D and Project Set Up in Math Fair grade level rooms

9:45am: Project Display Areas are cleared; Parents and students remain in Breakroom 409D or other rooms as designated.

10:00am: Project Interviews Begin

12:000pm: Awards Ceremony in 406D, Multipurpose Room

Logistics: Students will wait with their parents/guardians in the appropriate waiting room until called for their project interview by the judges.  Once a math fair participant has been interviewed he/she will be released back to their parent or guardian in the waiting room.  

Once judging has been completed, the Awards Ceremony will be announced on/before 12:00pm. Once announced, students and parents may be released and are asked to clear the competition rooms.

Judge's comments will be distributed immediately following the Awards Ceremony.

Note:  Limited snacks will be available for judges and volunteers,  parents are encouraged to bring sufficient snacks/drinks for their children.
