The 2026 Mayor’s Cup Community Spirit Challenge is about more than football, school colors, and bragging rights.

While Leesville and DeRidder will compete for the Mayor’s Cup, our communities are coming together for a greater purpose — supporting individuals and families impacted by autism in our community.

Through the partnership of the Concerned Citizens Coalition, Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce, Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce, participating businesses, community partners, and residents, we are turning a friendly rivalry into an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Autism touches families throughout our communities. Behind every diagnosis is an individual with unique strengths, abilities, dreams, and needs — and a family navigating its own journey.

The Mayor’s Cup gives our communities an opportunity to use the excitement surrounding one of the area's biggest football rivalries to help create something positive that lasts far beyond game night.

Our goal is not simply to raise awareness.

Our goal is to create IMPACT.
