The aim of this symposium is to bring together researchers working in the fields of blood development, hPSC modeling of blood diseases and generation of hPSC-blood products for cell replacement therapies and immunotherapies.

Topics will include recent advances in characterizing the ontogeny of the hematopoietic system, in generating disease models of non-malignant and malignant blood diseases and in developing cell and gene therapies using hPSC-derived cells.
