3MT (Three Minute Thesis)

Rules

• A single static Power Point slide is permitted (no slide transitions, animations or 'movement' of any description, the slide is to be presented from the beginning of the oration).

• No additional electronic media (e.g., sound and video files) are permitted.

• No additional props (e.g., costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.

• Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.

• Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g., no poems, raps, or songs).

• Presentations are to commence from the stage.

• Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through movement or speech.

• The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.

評分標準：

• 研究架構及內涵 （包含研究創新性、完整性及深入程度等）：40%

• 報告組織及結構：20%

• 報告技巧（ 投影片製作、報告時之儀態、時間控制、英語表達及答辯能力等）：40%

備註：報名者仍須繳交摘要。

口頭報告(Oral presentation)、3MT(Three Minute Thesis)、海報競賽(Poster)三項競賽每人僅能參加一項

The presentation must be conducted in English.

Scoring criteria:

• Research framework and content (including research innovation, completeness, depth, etc.): 40%

• Report organization and structure: 20%

• Presentation skills (slide preparation, demeanor during presentation, time management, English expression, and defense ability): 40%

Note: Participants must submit an abstract.
