The following students and their projects can be found in the Maker Space
"Seahorse Memory" is a narrative-puzzle game made in RPGMaker MV. The protagonist falls six stories underground and has to find the stairs on each floor in order to get back to the ground floor. Each of the six floors has a unique color scheme centered around a specific color.
An arcade fighting game where two players customize limb stats before playing. The game allows you to control each limb using a separate button. This allows you to utilize left versus right strength and upper versus lower body strength.
“The List” is an interactive narrative created in Twine that explores fear and uncertainty within a high school, following the journey of Cassandra, its main protagonist. As names start appearing on a mysterious list linked to ICE activity, players shape the story’s direction through their choices, guiding Cassandra through a web of tension, suspicion, and consequence. It’s meant to represent the fear and uncertainty experienced by families and communities affected by ICE raids in today’s society.
Pale Rider is a western-gothic RPG where you take on the role of a pale rider—a half dead rider of the apocalypse on whom the fate of humanity rests.
Scriba is an AI-powered reading assistant designed to help readers remember and better understand what they read, making fiction books more enjoyable over time. The app turns a reader’s unstructured notes into organized knowledge about characters, places, plotlines, and key events. That growing memory can then be used by an AI assistant to answer questions and explain details from the parts of the book the reader has already read, without revealing spoilers.
Black Box is a narrative game built in Godot 4 that inverts the Turing test by positioning the player as the AI under examination. As Subject 14, the player moves through an eight-exchange evaluation that alternates between an internal phase - navigating an abstract representation of the AI's mind to collect fragmentary thoughts - and a response phase, in which those fragments are transmitted to the examining doctor and registered on a trust meter. Multiple divergent endings refuse a stable verdict on Subject 14's interiority, asking the player to dwell in the gap between being legible and being known.
Producer Sketchbook is a browser-based generative ideation tool for electronic music producers, built on the Anthropic API. Situated within research on human-AI co-creativity, the project investigates how language models can support - rather than displace - the early conceptual stages of music production. Rather than generating audio, the tool scaffolds the pre-compositional phase, surfacing references, sonic descriptors, and structural prompts that help producers articulate intent while engaging their digital audio workstation (FL Studio, Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools, etc.).
Faded is a basic browser-based platformer coded on p5.js.
Chronos Paradixium: Step into a world where timelines collide. This 2D RPG blends fantasy and science fiction in a time-travel-driven adventure, where every choice shapes the path ahead. After being trapped and sent into the past, Aya must recover her stolen research on time magic, the Chronisphere, while pursuing a hidden and unknown enemy.
Through magic crafting, resource gathering, and dynamic combat, players guide Aya at the very beginning of her journey, uncovering mysteries that bridge past and future. Experience Chapter 1 of a multi-part story where your decisions don’t just matter—they echo across time.
