The Taiwan Research Day will take place in Room BE0.18 of the New Gorleaus Building. We will welcome you at the entrance of the new building.
The Faculty of Science is best reached by public transport from the Leiden Centraal train station which is 20 min. by train from Schiphol International Airport.
From Leiden Centraal train station several travel options are available
On foot (~30 min.)
It takes around 30 minutes to walk from Leiden Centraal train station to the Faculty of Science. Please check the map for directions.
By bike (5 minutes)
You can rent a bike at the Leiden Central Station (OV-fiets or Hello Bike). Information is available on the Hello-Bike website.
By bus (5 minutes)
Buses run conveniently during business hours and tickets can be directly purchased with the driver.
Bus 38 (direction Unmanned Valley) or Bus 90 (direction Lisse) pass by the faculty of Science. Get off at bus stop "Universiteitsterrein". Please check the Dutch public transport website for up-to-date information.
By taxi
There is a taxi stand located directly at the front side of Leiden Centraal train station.
By car
The closest parking garage is at Ehrenfestweg 1. From here you can cross the street and walk to the Faculty of Science. You will enter the building at the main entrance. Parking costs are around €2 per hour up to €18 per day.
To get to the parking garage, take exit 8b (Leiden) off the A44 motorway and continue on the N206 for ca. 500 m. Keep to your right and follow 'Bio Science Park-Oost 1/Voorschoten'. After 200 m take a left turn onto Ehrenfestweg (still in the direction of Bio Science Park-Oost 1).
