Thursday, September 10th - Sunday, September 13th - Join us for our oldest camping tradition: our annual campout at Cottonwood Lake!

Tucked away 10 miles outside of Buena Vista at 9,500 feet, Cottonwood Lake offers incredible hiking, fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding in a stunning mountain valley.

Campground Details & Logistics:

• Location: We are aiming to secure spots in the main campground again this year (back by popular demand so we have access to toilets!).

• First-Come, First-Served: Because reservations aren't accepted, we need early arrivals! While its never been an issue in the past, if you can head up early Thursday—or even Wednesday like me—to help save sites, please let us know. We beg of you lol

• Site Sharing & Cost: We can fit two buses per site. The $22/night fee will be split between the two buses sharing the spot and must be coordinated between the two. The club has no involvement with payment.

• Backup Plan: If the campground fills up, we’ll head further up the road to our usual boondocking spot on National Forest land.
