Applicants should visit www.umm.edu/volunteer to complete and submit a volunteer application. When asked if there is an approved placement, they should respond “yes” and include your name as the departmental contact. We will follow-up by sending an emails that contains compliance training credentials and all onboarding instructions. We require documentation of childhood immunizations when can be uploaded with the applications. We provide free parking in the Baltimore Grand Garage – 5 N. Paca Street. We also provide bus tokens. We are located at 29 S. Greene Street, GS101.

The onboarding process includes the following: 2 references; an online orientation; a background check (if you are 18 or over), proof of vaccination for COVID 19, a TB test, and a drug screen. I have attached the reference forms and the Health Screen Form. Once you have been assigned an ID number they will send you a link to upload your proof of vaccination and health documents. The link to the orientation module, and instructions, will be sent under separate cover.
Proceeding to Occupational Health Dept is typically one of the final steps in the process. They will provide the TB test and drug screen. They can also perform a titer test to confirm your immunizations, if you do not have access to those records.
The office is located on the 5th floor of the Hoffberger Building (2435 W. Belvedere Ave.). Office hours are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m.– 3:30 p.m., however the office closes for lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. I recommend that you call ahead to confirm their hours and availability. They can be reached at 410-601-5434. You may be able to find parking on the street, depending on the time of day, otherwise I recommend that you park in Belvedere Garage. The entrance is on W.
