On July 31, 2025, the PSJA ISD Board of Trustees voted to call a $60 million Bond Election for the community to consider.
The PSJA Bond 2025 will appear on the November 4, 2025 ballot and is divided into two propositions focused on major district-wide improvements. If approved by voters, the bond will fund projects such as roofing and HVAC upgrades, fine arts expansions, athletic facility enhancements, and other critical improvements to ensure safe, modern, and innovative learning environments for all students.
Will the bond raise my taxes?
No, the bond will NOT raise school taxes. PSJA ISD adopted a lower tax rate on September 22, 2025.
WHAT'S PROPOSED?
PROPOSITION A
$54,300,000 for districtwide improvements
HVAC Replacements
HVAC systems that have exceeded their expected lifespan
Roofing Repairs
Roofs in need of repair or replacement
Parking Lots
Parking areas requiring improvements
Renovations
Renovation of other district facilities like the athletics dome
PROPOSITION B
$5,700,000 for renovations of Perfoming Arts facilities
WHERE & WHEN CAN I VOTE?
All registered voters 18 years older who live within PSJA ISD boundaries may vote.
