The Poultry School is an annual event that brings together farm owners, veterinarians, production managers, and industry partners for two days of learning activities. A wide array of topics are discussed, ranging from poultry diseases, marketing trends, government policies, management and nutrition, to diagnostics—all aimed at equipping attendees with the knowledge and skills needed to address the challenges of a growing poultry industry and an increasing human population.

This year’s installment will highlight the importance of collaboration among the different sectors of the poultry industry, including government agencies, industry leaders, consumers, and the community. With the theme “Breaking Barriers, Embracing Opportunities: Elevating Philippine Poultry to Global Heights”, the event calls on all stakeholders to work in synergy toward building a globally competitive Philippine poultry industry.

The objective of the 2025 Poultry School is to provide a framework that goes beyond management, disease diagnostics, marketing trends, and disease prevention and control. It underscores the importance of compliance with and familiarity with appropriate statutory and regulatory requirements, which will be one of the focal topics this year. In addition, there will be focus sessions on emerging and re-emerging diseases, new housing technologies, updates on animal nutrition, and best management practices.
