We can provide accommodation for our non-local participants at the University of Toronto’s New College Residences. Each double room has two single beds and each floor has shared communal washrooms. Single rooms available upon special request. Bedding, pillows, towels, Wi-Fi, and central air conditioning included.

Parking is available at UofT’s Lot N – Grad House (17 Glen Morris Avenue), a 5-minute walk from the residence, at a rate of $10 per day. Permits may be purchased at a machine, on the ParkedIn app (Zone ID 1008) or online at: https://utoronto.aimsparking.com/permits/?cmd=new_non_auth. If purchasing online, please make sure to select the “Pass Eve/Wkd: Lot N” option for Friday (after 4 pm), Saturday (all day), and Sunday (all day).

VIA Rail offers a discount for booking tickets on Tuesdays.
Many Canadian universities offer VIA Rail discounts to their Alumni. Such universities include: UW, UofT, York, uOttawa, Western, McGill, uLaval, TMU, Queen's, uWindsor. If you received a diploma from a Canadian university in the past, we encourage you to check if you are eligible to an Alumnus discount.
You are encouraged to plan your trip yourself using the GO Transit website. All information below is only shown for convenience. Note that students get a significant discount on GO transit, provided that they use a PRESTO card and that they activate the student discount ahead of time.

TTC (within Toronto)
The single fare on TTC is $3.30 and can be paid by tapping a PRESTO or debit/credit card at the subway gates or upon entering a streetcar or bus.
To arrive at New College Residence from Toronto’s Union Station, there are two options:
Take the Line 1 subway Northbound toward Vaughan. Wilson Hall is about a 15-minute walk away from each of the following stations: Queen’s Park, Museum, St George, Spadina.
Take the 510 Spadina streetcar toward Spadina Station. Wilson Hall is less than 100 metres away from the stop Spadina Ave at Willcocks St.
If arriving from any other location accessible by TTC, please note that, as mentioned above, New College Residence’s Wilson Hall is walking distance from the following subway stations: Queen’s Park, Museum, St George, and Spadina. Additionally, the 510 Spadina streetcar line passes right by the residence.
