Frequently asked questions
Do you need to complete all of the courses in order to participate in competitions?

No, all courses are designed to prepare you to excel in various competitions, albeit covering different projects and thus exercising projects of varying modes of difficulty. Additionally, we introduce some programming competitions that our students have traditionally participated in and integrate competition-level assignments within our curriculum. 

What is the modality of these courses?

All courses and their materials are conducted virtually.

What is the language you use to teach, grade, and communicate to students and parents?

​We only teach and communicate in English. While some of our staff are fluent in Mandarin and can give brief accommodations, all courses are taught in one language to keep the learning content consistent. 

Do you need to be a student in the US to register for courses?

No, this is not a requirement; however, the course and office hour times will be based in USA time zones. It is the student's responsibility to access course content whether it be through lectures or office hours accordingly, regardless of whether or not they are located in the US. 

What is the refund policy?

We give 100% refund before the 2nd lesson. Afterwards, there is no eligibility for a refund. ​
