It was formerly a small Hunan school attended by the children of sugar factory employees, and has a deep connection with Xihu Sugar Factory.
In 2024, the seniors studied the historical relationship between Xihu Sugar Factory and the school, and marketed their observations of Xihu Sugar Factory through international online blogs.
Taking this as an important starting point, we decided to continue exploring an important street currently related to Xihu Sugar Factory - Xihu Middle Street.

Xihu Middle Street?
Xihu Old Street is also called Xihu Middle Street.
Located in Xihu Town, Changhua County, Taiwan, it is dominated by Section 3 of Yuanlu Road (north-south direction), and with this section as the center, it extends to Taiping Street, Section 3 of Changshui Road, Section 3 of Yuanlu Road (east-west direction), Section 1 of Erxi Road, etc., which are all distribution areas of the old street.
Xihu Middle Street starts from Xihu Sugar Factory. During the Japanese colonial period, the main thoroughfare on the street took on the shape of "工".Xihu Middle Street is an important street starting from Xihu Sugar Factory and extending to Fu'an Palace.During the Japanese colonial period, it was the most prosperous area in Xihu Town.
