South Info Kiosk - sand and re-stain: Just south of our southernmost trailhead we have an information kiosk on the bike path junction that could use some TLC. It needs sanding, staining, and repainting. This would be a good project for 8 folks 16 and over.
A trash pickup and beach beautification project. They have a good number of trash grabber tools that they can hand out and have our group walk the beaches and picnic areas around the park and marina inlet to clean up for the season. They will have trash bags, buckets and can have seasonal employees assisting with this. This is a great project that can involve families of all ages including young children. Maybe not the most glamours of work but it truly is one of the most important things we can do around Boyd Lake.

Boyd Lake State Park is a water-sports and camping/picnicking haven for northern Colorado. The lake lies at the western-most edge of the plains at the foot of snow-capped Long's Peak and the mountains of the Continental Divide.
