Volunteers driving - If you are driving you can enter Rademaker from Pearl Rd and park in the 'junior' gravel lot. If you prefer you can park in one of the other lots, especially if you need to leave before the event is over.
Volunteers dropped off - If you are getting dropped off, enter Rademaker from Pearl Rd and make sure your parents know it will be one way to exit out on Lunn Rd.
Come to the registration area and get your assignment from Mrs Cifani or Mrs Friedberg in the green Event shirts. Some of you will be assigned to a section to help guide participants to their appropriate spot. Some of you will be asked to help direct people as they drive in from Pearl Rd. We need all of you to help keep people in their sections and safely off Rademaker until it is closed to all traffic.
The community pep rally will be in and around the Pat Catan Stadium. If you are driving, park in any open lot. If you are getting dropped off, use the Lunn Rd entrance.
When you arrive, check in with one of the parent volunteers in a neon green Event shirt. They will give you instructions.
Clean Up - If you are signed up to help clean up, it would be best if you come early enough to enjoy the community event, as the roads and parking areas will be closed for periods of time. If you did not specifically sign up but are able to stay, we would love your help cleaning up after the event! We do not have a specific end time to the event, but you can find a parent volunteer in a neon green Event shirt who can give you instructions on how to help with clean up.
Hours sheets - Please remember to bring your hours sheets! Any of the parent volunteers in the neon green Event shirts can sign for you before you leave.
Pick up times - If your parents are picking you up, please make sure they are aware that some of the roads will be closed for a period of time. Rademaker Rd will not reopen until the event is over. You should plan to meet your parents in front of the high school or in another safe location that is well lit (it will be dark!).
