Participants will help fill eroded campsites with fresh gravel and prevent future erosion. Participants will need to be able to move gravel using a shovel and wheelbarrows (provided). The plan is to close down those campsites to allow us to do the updates (a very usual step given the value of those campsites)
Please carpool! Participants can meet at the Larimer County Dept of Natural Resources Admin Offices (1800 S County Rd 31, Loveland CO 80537) which is about 10 minutes from the project site. No charge for parking at the Admin offices.
Location: Meet at the Pinewood Reservoir Campground (circled on map above) at 8am. Participants will meet LCDNR staff, receive parking passes, sign a standard waiver, and go over project details on site before getting started.
Staffing needs are 17 min/25 max Ages 16+

At the meeting point, a daily parking pass will be issued. Please don't stop at the south gate station to buy a pass - just drive through to the north end. They will be valid until the end of the day. Our group is welcome to stay after the project and enjoy the park.
If the project is canceled due to the weather, we will contact you and try to reschedule.
Thanks for your service.
