The Korean Studies program at Leiden University will host the Sixth Annual Korean Speech Contest. The competition is open to learners of Korean enrolled in BA, MA, and PhD programs at Dutch (applied) universities.
Date and Time: 11 April, 2025 (Friday) at 15:00-17:00 [door opens at 14:30]
Venue: Telders Auditorium, Academiegebouw, Universiteit Leiden (Rapenburg 73, 2311 GJ Leiden)
Reception: 17:00-19:00 in the lobby of the Herta Mohr building. Sponsored by the Korean Embassy to the Netherlands, Kia Motors, and EKWSEA (Europe-Korea Women Scientists & Engineers Association. All participants and their family and friends are invited.
After the contest, you can also attend the brief introduction session to Working Holiday in Korea.
The speech contest is divided into two categories based on students' proficiency levels: Beginner and Non-beginner. Beginner level is for students with proficiency equivalent to TOPIK 1 (level 1 and level 2) , while Non-beginner level is for those with proficiency equivalent to TOPIK 2 (level 3 - level6). Participants should submit the appropriate application form corresponding to their proficiency level.
