Thursday, September 4th - Sunday, September 7th - We invite you to one of our oldest traditions; our fall campout at Cottonwood Lake! Located 10 miles from Buena Vista at an elevation of 9500'. The lake sits in a beautiful mountain valley with amazing hiking, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. 

New this year; there are now two camping options. Option 1: We will be camping as a group further west up the road from the campground and along the creek on National Forest land. This is free, primitive camping. Option 2: If you would like to camp in the designated campground for access to a vault toilet, you are welcome to do that. Please know that reservations are not accepted after Labor Day and sites are available on a first come, first served basis. 

For those joining us along the creek, this will be primitive camping. Be prepared! No toilets, no water, no electricity. Nada. Bring your portable toilet, bucket or shovel. Pack out your trash. Critter proof your camp at night etc.
