A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Ellen lives north of San Francisco and works in the Natural History Museum Exhibit industry as a muralist, illustrator, model maker and installing exhibits. Ellen's award winning artwork, which combines drawing and paintings with a scientific narrative is in several museum collections. Working with scientists has taught Ellen that the passion and commitment of artist and scientist are closely linked; both are based on a curiosity for observing and appreciating the world we live on and the universe we live in.
