About the HOPE Conference
The 2024 Climate of HOPE Conference is designed to bring a combination of cutting edge climate research and engaging classroom-ready activities to Illinois science teachers.

The conference will explore the confluence of inquiry, climate science, and evolution as they relate to our rapidly changing planet.

Registration and Pre-Conference Information
Register for the conference using the link below. Registration requires a $30.00 registration fee to cover breakfast, snacks, and a boxed lunch for each registrant.

You will receive 5 continuing education hours through the DuPage ROE for attending this event.
Conference Hotel: For those traveling from out of town, the conference hotel will be the Hyatt Regency Lisle near Naperville. Room rates ~$110/night.

Saturday March 2nd the National Center for Science Education will be holding a half day deep dive into some of their climate change and evolution lesson sets. A $100 stipend will be given to educators who complete the half day workshop (limited to the first 35 registrants). See the continued experience page for the application link.
