The Rocky Mountain Section of AAPG is seeking oral presentations and posters for its 2024 annual meeting. The theme is “Elevating Energy” and will cover a wide range of topics related to geologic energy resources, including:

*If you have an idea for a core display or plan to bring core to accompany your poster submission, please note that with your submission and contact the Technical Program co-chairs.
All submissions must include the following:
• Title: authors, affiliations & email addresses; abstract text
• Text: 3000 character limit (includes spaces), no figures or references
• Provide keywords or identify a theme/topic appropriate for your abstract
• Optional: Propose a session for your abstract
Abstracts that do not meet the above criteria will not be considered for inclusion in the technical program.
Policies
Presenting authors can withdraw their presentation by writing to the Technical Program Co-Chairs no later than four weeks prior to the meeting if the presenter is unable to attend and no co-author or alternate presenter is available. Presenting authors that withdraw or are a No-Show after this deadline will be placed on the No-Show List unless excused by the Technical Program Co-Chairs. Presenters with accepted abstracts who cannot attend the meeting due to an emergency or other issue should contact the meeting organizers as soon as possible and are strongly encouraged to find a substitute presenter. No-Show presenters who are not excused will be barred from submitting abstracts to RMS-AAPG meetings for 2 years.

Commercialism
The goal of the RMS-AAPG meeting is to provide high quality, technical presentations free from excessive commercialism. Presentations that constitute mainly promotion or advertising will not be eligible for inclusion in the technical program.
