Newark Regional Business Partnership (NRBP) is a broad-based member organization committed to the success of our members and the revitalization of New Jersey’s largest City.

GNEC, established in 2005, is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). CDFIs aim to offer responsible and affordable lending services to financially disadvantaged communities nationwide. Unlike traditional banks, CDFIs also provide technical assistance support alongside their lending activities. GNEC facilitates connections between entrepreneurs and the resources they need – capital and coaching – to foster the growth and sustainability of their businesses. We’re dedicated to delivering business capital, consulting, and coaching services to entrepreneurs rooted in New Jersey.

The Newark Public Library's Small Business Services can connect business owners to resources that can help with business development, mentorship opportunities, digital trainings, and more.

The mission of the Essex County Office of Small Business Development and Affirmative Action is to position small, women-owned, veteran-owned and minority business enterprises to compete successfully for contracts.

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) grows the state’s economy and increases equitable access to opportunity by supporting high-quality job creation, catalyzing investment, and fostering vibrant, inclusive community development.

The Office of Innovation works with and across New Jersey State departments and agencies to design and develop products and services by using modern, data-driven, human-centered design, and agile development processes.

The New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC) network provides comprehensive assistance to small and medium businesses (SMBs) to maximize opportunities for growth and generate economic impact statewide.
