The peer review process plays an essential role in ensuring the quality of scientific works and providing a measure of trust. Independent reviewers evaluate the quality of submitted manuscripts and utilize a suggestive feedback mechanism for possible improvements.
Owing to the significant importance of peer review in the control community, in this event, we have gathered a panel composed of the EUCA President, Editorial Chairs, and experienced and young scholars to provide information on the current peer-review activities, ranging from performance to involvement, and discuss some of the emerging trends in peer review, such as diversity, biases, and the use of AI.
