1. CONFERENCE VENUE

2. AIRPORT

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) – nearest airport to the SCUCC https://sacramento.aero/smf

*       Approximately 11.1 miles to SCUCC

*       Lyft / Uber: $25 - $ 35 USD (each way depending on time)

- Terminal A, located at the West Curb at the northwest corner of the terminal

- Terminal B, located at the West Commercial Curb north of the short-term parking

3. HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS  (if registered with conference and hotel fees)

4. PARKING

  Esquire Plaza Parking Garage: located across west lobby entrance of SCUCC

     1215 13th Street, Sacramento CA 95814  (refer to attached map)

-      Garage hours: 6:00AM-11:00 PM Friday | 7:00 AM-11:00 PM Sat. & Sun.

-      $21 per day, NO in-out privileges

-      NOTE: Cask Register closes at 10:45 PM

-      Flat Rate of $25 per day, no in-out privileges

5. Things to BRING to our Conference:

*       CFC IDs – required for ENTRY into our Conference Hall

(If without ID, IDs can be printed onsite at $5.00 each)

*       Talk Outlines – QR code will be sent to all attendees 2 weeks prior to the Conference and on our Conference Website

* Prescription Medications - remember to have all your prescribed medications with you

*       Water Bottles – water fountains available outside the Convention Hall

NOTE:

NO WIFI access and NO OUTSIDE FOOD allowed inside the SCUCC

6. ATTIRE

*      Friday – July 12: wear assigned Regional Colors

*      NORTH WEST A -   MAROON

*      SOUTH WEST A -   ROYAL BLUE

*     SOUTH WEST B -   ORANGE

*      SOUTH WEST C -   GREEN

*      SOUTH CENTRAL B -   BROWN

*      G6 -   GRAY

*      Saturday – July 13

-      Daytime attire: Conference T-shirts (given during the registration)

-      Evening GALA NIGHT attire: “Cocktail Attire” 

– Dress appropriately and comfortably in your favorite color / style (NO JEANS). 

– You are NOT limited to “BLACK and/or WHITE.”

*      Sunday – July 14: Sunday Best

7. CONFERENCE SCHEDULE (visit our conference website for updates) https://www.2024cfcusawesternconference.com

*      Friday – July 12  

-      NO MEALS served on FRIDAY (see conference website for list of places to eat)

•       Have LATE LUNCH or EARLY DINNER prior to conference start

-      NO KIDSWATCH (can bring your children inside the Conference Hall)

-      DESIGNATED SEATS for families with children are set up inside the Conference Hall due to VIRTUS Requirements

-      Conference room seating will be arranged by Regions

-      Registration opens at 1:00 PM on Friday (all attendees must register in person)

-      CONFESSIONS available from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM (look for designated areas)

-      Conference Hall opens at 4:00 PM (seating arrangements by Regions)

-      Rosary from 4:30 - 5:00 PM

-      Holy Mass at 5:00 PM

-      After mass, Worship, Banner / Thanksgiving Parade, Opening Ceremonies, Prologue

-      Session ends at 9:30 PM. 

*      Saturday – July 13

-      Breakfast – NOT PROVIDED (visit our conference website for list of restaurants)

-      Doors open at 7:00 AM |  Rosary at 7:30 AM |  Mass at 8:00 AM |

-      Lunch served at SCUCC from 12:00 noon – 1:00 PM

-      Saturday afternoon sessions ends at 5:30 PM.

-      BREAK between 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM to prepare for Gala Night

-      Saturday night: 7:00 – 11:00 PM “GALA NIGHT”

– doors open at 6:30 PM

*      Sunday – July 14

-     Doors open at 6:30 AM

-     Breakfast PROVIDED at SCUCC - 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM

-     Rosary at 7:30 AM | Mass at 8:00 AM

-     Session ends at 12:30 PM

-     LUNCH will NOT be served

8. ADORATION

*       see ADORATION room across Conference Hall

*       opens after Friday 5:00 PM mass and ends before Sunday 8:00 AM mass

9. KIDSWATCH (pre-registered)

*       Saturday only (July 13) from 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM.

*       Please remember to submit your signed copies of the “Consent & Release” form

– Form for each child when you drop your children at KidsWatch venue

*       Meal Times:

-      Lunch 12:00 noon – 1:00 PM.

•       Parents please pick up your children from KidsWatch

•       They can join you for lunch at the Banquet Hall

-      Dinner - served at 5:15 PM in the KidsWatch room.

•       Parents may bring your children’s dinner back to the hotel

*       KidsWatch will close between 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

 - will reopen at 7:00 PM for the Gala Night and closes at 11:00 PM

*       Medications:

-      All medications for the children must be administered by the parent/s 

*       Food Allergies:

-      KidsWatch meals for Saturday:

-      LUNCH: Spaghetti and Sweet Marinara with beef meatballs

             Chicken Nuggets with ketchup and ranch on the side

             Chocolate Chip cookies (no nuts)

             Apple juice and iced water

- DINNER: Hamburger Patty with Hamburger Bun

              Condiments on the side – lettuce, tomato, pickles and sliced cheese

           French Fries

              Assorted cookies (no nuts)

              Apple juice and iced water

-      Snacks will be provided between meals

-      Parents may bring their children’s favorite snacks during drop-off

•       Please put snacks/food in bags and label with your children’s name
