2024 Asia-Pacific Quiz Championships

The 2024 APQC will be held on Saturday, 30th November and Sunday, 1st December in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. 

Supported by Clootrack and Quizzing Australia 

Venue: G Hotel Gurney

Fee: US$40 per person

Format: National teams of four contest Individual and Team rounds

Do I need to be a national team member to compete?  No. All individuals are welcome regardless of national team status, and will be placed into a team for the team quiz rounds. 

How do I register? Individuals (including non-playing attendees) who are not part of a national team can register here.

When do registrations close?  Saturday, 25th November

How hard are the questions?  Sample sets are available here. Note that two of the three rounds are designed for team play.

  • Pop Culture individual quiz

  • FAMED ( Food, Architecture, Entertainment, Music, Design) individual quiz

• 7:00 to 9:00 pm - Fellowship dinner and pub-style quiz

Sunday, 1st December 

• 8:45 am - APQC Individual written quiz

• 11:30 am - APQC Individual response quiz

• 2:30 pm - APQC Team response quiz

• 5:00 pm - Close
