Graduate Credit Instructions
Steps to Receive Graduate Credit
We will provide you with a course credit form at the institute. If you fill it out and submit it at the institute, you will receive 1 graduate credit from the Colorado School of Mines Teacher Enhancement Program .
The form must be accompanied by a personal check or money order in the amount of $65 made payable to CSM Continuing Education. Check or money order are the only forms of payment accepted by CSM.
You must submit the course credit form and payment to us in-person before the end of the CREATE Energy Institute. We will mail your form and payment to CSM with your recorded grade and our signature.
The form must be complete with all participant information (no missing data).
The graduate credit cannot be awarded retroactively. This means you can only receive the graduate credit if you request it before the course is completed. This graduate credit is a limited time offer that expires at the end of the CREATE Solar Institute.
It is very helpful to be able to have this graduate credit class officially recorded for purposes of salary advancement and licensing. If you ever change school districts, or if your district puts in place a new contract with different salary compensation mechanisms, or if the state passes new rules for teacher licensing, or if you move to a new state that has different rules for teacher licensing, it is very helpful to be able to have this class officially recorded for graduate credit.
Transcript Request Form
We will provide a transcript request form at the institute.
It takes up to 4 weeks for CSM to process the grades. This means you can request a transcript after August 14th.
There is a $10 fee for a printed transcript.
You can also order a transcript online through CSM.
The transcript will be mailed to the address you provide.
