Research Area: Main research lines are (1) the isolation and identification of natural products, (2) the development of analytical methods for the quality control of medicinal drugs, phytotherapeutics, and their galenic preparations, (3) the quality control of Greek cultivated Medicinal and Aromatic plants, (4) the pharmacological evaluation of isolated natural products and extracts.

Estefania Cordisco

Title: Postdoctoral researcher /Assistant Researcher of National Council of Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET)

Affiliation: Institute of Molecular and cell Biology of Rosario (IBR) and Pharmacognosy Department, Faculty of Biochemical and Pharmaceutical sciences, National University of Rosario (UNR), Argentina.

Research Area: compounds from plants, especially from the Argentine flora, with antifungal activity against different opportunistic fungi that infect humans and animals. My particular work is based on the search for metabolites active against Candida species.
