However, many people enjoy singing and dancing. If you prepare some good songs, these people, through listening to and singing songs, and dancing, will unknowingly take God’s words to heart. This not only satisfies their hobbies but also helps them understand the truth. From this perspective, preparing something suitable based on their hobbies and preferences can achieve better effects, right? Therefore, by singing, we can convey God’s words, the truth reality, and the heartfelt words and the heart’s voice of people who have experienced God’s words, allowing everyone to not only be edified during sermons but also understand the truth while singing hymns to praise God in their spare time. Thus, if the hymns are well composed, sometimes their effect can be even greater than that of sermons because people may listen to a sermon once or twice and then stop, but they will often listen to and sing hymns. Good hymns can even accompany people for a lifetime. A person does not just listen to a particular hymn once or twice if they like it; they can listen to it every day, every year, and sing it every day, and every year, and never stop for many years. A song can follow them for a lifetime, and in this way, the harvest from singing a hymn dozens or hundreds of times can be greater than listening to a sermon a few times. So, is preaching alone sufficient for church life? There must also be good hymns and dances, so that people are fully released. The first thing God’s chosen people cannot do without is God’s words, and the second is hymns. Sermon recordings cannot always be carried around and are only listened to occasionally, but hymns can be sung often. Just like eating, one cannot live on staple food alone; one also needs to drink water or soup for better digestion. Similarly, God’s words are like food, the staple, and hymns are like water. Singing hymns more often helps people understand the truth and nourishes the spirit, so they can digest God’s words.
