About

WHAT:

• A Greater Toronto Chess League & Excelsior Chess Club event.

• Single Round-Robin tournament of 4 player TEAMS

  • • Maximum 9 rounds.

    • CFC-rated and FIDE-rated.

• Time Control:  90 mins + 30 secs/move.

• Equipment:  Provided by Excelsior Chess Club

• Important:  Read the RULES.

WHO:

• Maximum 100 players = 25 teams may register.

• Teams from any GTCL club, organization, or group.

• Teams consist of 4 players with any number of substitute players.

• Players must have CFC memberships that expire on or after March 7, 2024.

WHEN:

• TIMES:  Rounds start at 7:00pm on Thursdays (1 rounder per week)

  • • Games are defaulted after 30 minutes.

• DATES:  maximum 9 weeks :

  • • January 11, 18, 25

    • February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

    • March 7

WHERE:

• Excelsior Chess Club, Etobicoke.

FEE:

• $0.00  (GTCL will pay all the rating fees and prizes)

PRIZES:

• Trophy for all players on the winning team.
