All business sessions of Annual Conference will be held in the Fellowship Hall in the Fellowship Building.
All worship services, including the Service of Ordination and Commissioning and the Memorial Service, will be held in the Sanctuary and are open to the public. No registration is required to attend a worship service.
Due to space limitations, only voting members of Annual Conference and presenting guests will be seated in the Fellowship Hall for business sessions.
Guests are invited to visit the conference website and join virtually by livestream.
Childcare is provided for children aged 3 years and under during the Service of Ordination and Commissioning.
No childcare will be available for any other business sessions or worship services.
The digital packet is easily accessed by using a smartphone camera to scan the QR code located on your name badge or posted around the host site. The packet is also available on the conference website by clicking 2024 Annual Conference in Quick Links.
The digital packet contains the working agenda, nominations, legislative items, link to the Book of Reports, and other important information pertaining to the business of Annual Conference.
New this year is a link within the digital packet to digital materials from our UM associated ministries and agencies. Please take a moment to browse the information provided by these important kingdom-building organizations.
Due to space limitations, the floor of Annual Conference in the Fellowship Hall of Montgomery First UMC is the voting bar. We are unable to seat guests for business sessions of Annual Conference. Please note that you must have either voice or vote to be admitted to the bar.
A very limited number of overflow seats are available in the Alabama Rural Ministry snack room located in the Friendship Room on the main floor of the Fellowship Building. Thank you for your understanding.
Restrooms are located on the main floor of the Fellowship Building on the main hallway. Additional restrooms are located on the top and bottom floors of the Fellowship Building near the stairs just off of the Fellowship Hall.
An elevator is located at the opposite end of the hallway from the Fellowship Hall.
In the Sanctuary building, restroom facilities are located at the rear of the building, past the Reception Room outside of the Chapel.
We are glad to announce that the Alabama Rural Ministry (ARM) Snack Bar is back! The snack bar is located in the Friendship Room off of the main hallway of the Fellowship Building.
Outside food and drink are allowed, but please be mindful of properly disposing waste.
The parking of Wesley Hall off of Park Ave is designated as reserved handicapped parking.
There are other spaces marked around campus as well including the north and south parking lots.
Action cards are available for pick up in the lobby of the Fellowship Hall.
The working agenda is available via the digital packet and conference website. There are a limited number of print copies in the lobby of the Fellowship Hall.
The conference Book of Reports is available online and contains the working agenda, the consent agenda, and other reports pertaining to the business of Annual Conference. Print copies are available through Amazon. However, please note that the books are published on demand and take 7-10 business days to arrive.
Please return your credentials to the registration table before your departure and notify the staff there that you will not return.
If an alternate lay member is taking your place: please have the person replacing you as the voting lay member come with you to the registration table to receive the appropriate credentials to allow them into the voting bar.
