2024 Adding Voices Conference General Information

Location: Moore College of Art & Design 1916 Race St. Philadelphia PA 19103
Entrance doors are at street level and our doors have a push plate to support accessibility.

If you can't find your ticket registration, can't remember if you registered at all, or still need to register, we can help you look for that when you arrive, or register you on-site.
Conference Check-In Days & Times
You may check in at a time that works best for you. After you check in simply wear your conference lanyard for easy entry to the event.
Friday November 8th, 2pm-4:30pm
Saturday November 9th, 7am-5pm
Sunday November 10th, 9:30am-12:30am
Community Norms Agreement: All conference attendees agreed to our event’s Community Norms upon registration. Please take a moment to re-read these before attending this year's conference.
Session Selection - please bring a copy of the sessions you selected with you to the conference. A confirmation email from "Google Forms" was sent to you after you selected your sessions online, which shows your selected sessions. It may help to search for "Google Forms" to find your confirmation email. As of Friday November 8th, if you have not yet selected your sessions you will be assigned sessions when you check in at the conference.
Friday Night Kick-Off VIP Event: This is a limited ticketed event that was available through the session selection form, and all tickets have now been claimed. Ticket holders will have received a separate email with further directions. You can also refer to your session selection confirmation email which would have been sent to you through "Google Forms" to see if you were issued a ticket.

Saturday Dance Party: Saturday November 9th, 8pm-11pm. The AV24 Dance Party is free and open to all attendees. Party includes a live DJ and dessert buffet. There will be cash bars run by locally Black owned businesses with all payments going directly to them. You must be 21 to drink. Non-alcoholic beverages will be offered as a part of the free dessert buffet. Please bring your conference lanyard with you to identify yourself as a conference attendee. You may of course put it away once you enter the event.

Meals: The 2 lunches listed in the conference are included in your registration fee. There is no additional charge.
Nursing Station: Sarah Peter Room 203 (the Art Ed Dept. Office) has an interior office that will serve as our conference nursing station and is open to all nursing caregivers attending this event.

ASL Interpreter Services: we are able to offer ASL Interpreters upon request for those who identify as Deaf or Hard of Hearing. We are using Philadelphia-based DHCC services. DHCC has asked that all requests be made by October 31st, 2024 so that they have adequate time to prepare.
