Research Project Abstract: Almost every store from which people get items – online or brick-and-mortar – has some sort of inventory. Sometimes, it is on shelves, while other times, it is in some sort of “back-room” or warehouse. Even places like libraries and post offices can be considered warehouses of some sort. Operating these warehouses efficiently helps companies – large and small – operate more profitably. With the Siemens Plant Simulation software and Clemson’s access to the online training modules, we will model one or more local facilities.
