Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) is a growing market nowadays, for its economic value and cultural purposes. This class aims to develop students’ professional English use in the field of CCI.
The class is suitable for students who are equipped with the background knowledge of globalization and who are interested in findings jobs related to cultural and creative industries.
Through exposing to authentic materials of cases and discussing related issues of international cultural and creative industries, students will practice and sharpen their language abilities, and cultivate their global vision.
Applications of digital media will be integrated with the CCI to develop and display the “creativity of the new era." Through the implementation, the course aims to guide students to develop the ability of digital application to fit the cultural and creative industries.
Competence of foreign language: to advance English language skills, including reading, speaking, writing, and listening.
Competence of Cultural and Creative Industries: to demonstrate knowledge of cultural and creative product design, cultural and creative brand management, and cultural and creative industry marketing.
Digital skills and digital competencies: to develop the ability to utilize technological tools and resources, and the knowledge to design and create technological tools and information systems.
Competence of interdisciplinary narration: to respond to real-world issues, integrate and apply what they have learned, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

To identify the theme and focus of the park, the type of facilities available, the target audience, the marketing strategy, and the success or failure of the park.
To design your own cultural and creative park.
To present your design using multimodal forms.
To learn how to create an engaging presentation.
