My friend Colleen Finn is an amazing artist and digs pinball. She has graciously made something wonderful again this year for our raffle!

Behold a one-of-a-kind handmade sculpture of the alien Overlord featured in the 2023 Foo Fighters pinball machine! The sculpted character is 2.5" tall; overall size is approximately 4" in diameter and 4" in height. What is the purpose of the raffle?

The sole purpose of the raffle is to raise money for this year's charity, which is Richmond Animal Care & Control Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit chosen via poll issued to the tourney participants. Net proceeds of the raffle will be delivered to said charity once the drawing is complete.

How much will each raffle ticket cost?

$5 for one ticket

$20 for five tickets

How do I buy tickets?

Option 1 -- hit up Raffler in person, give him cash, give him your name and contact information, and he will send you electronic tickets.

Option 2 -- send money to Raffler via PayPal (rfpanl2@gmail.com), providing your name and contact information, and he will send you electronic tickets.

Option 3 -- send money to Raffler via Venmo (@Rob-Pannell), providing your name and contact information, and he will send you electronic tickets.

How will the money be controlled?

All monies will be collected in person or online by Venmo, PayPal, or other electronic means. Raffler will maintain a digital record of all transactions, as well as transaction and processing fees.

How will the tickets be handled?

Purchaser is not required to have a physical ticket. Raffler will maintain an electronic ticket log, which will indicate the ticket numbers that have sold. The Raffler will be responsible for keeping track of the collected monies and associated tickets. The ticket log will be available for inspection by any interested party.

How will the tickets be sold to the purchaser and how will the money be collected?

Tickets will be sold in person by Raffler, and online by Venmo, PayPal, or other electronic means, up until the drawing on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Raffler will send an electronic confirmation to purchasers of all tickets sold.

Does Raffler anticipate selling tickets outside the Commonwealth of Virginia?

Emails and social media posts will announce the sale of raffle tickets and raffle information will be posted on this website. Raffler has followers throughout the United States, so it is possible there will be purchases made outside the Commonwealth of Virginia. Purchasers outside the Commonwealth must abide by all laws as they pertain to their particular city/county/state.

Who will conduct the raffle drawing?

The raffle drawing will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at approximately 7:00PM EDT at Rob's Arcade in Richmond, VA. Raffler will conduct the drawing as described below.

Describe the drawing process.

All entries will be maintained in an electronic log (specifically, a spreadsheet). Once all entries are received, the Raffler will utilize the RANDBETWEEN spreadsheet function to select a single winning entry. This will occur publicly in the presence of those in attendance at the time of the drawing. The winner of the raffle will be announced at the time of the drawing.

How will the prize be delivered? How many days does the winner have to claim the prize? What happens if the winner does not claim the prize?

The winner does not need to be present to win. If the winner is not present, the Raffler will contact the winner using the contact information provided at the time of purchase. If the prize is not claimed within 30 days of the drawing, or is refused by the winner within 30 days of the drawing, the prize shall be null and void and the prize shall remain the property of Raffler.

No tickets will be sold to persons who have not reached the age of 18 as of the date of the drawing, September 17, 2023. Winner agrees to all rules as stated on this website and outlined here in the Raffle Rules & Restrictions.

RULES & RESTRICTIONS

Anyone purchasing a raffle ticket agrees to be bound by the following rules and restrictions. Additionally, by purchasing a ticket, the entrant certifies that he or she is 18 years of age or older. No tickets will be sold to persons who have not reached the age of 18 as of September 17, 2023, the date of the drawing.
The purchase price for one raffle ticket is $5, or five tickets for $20. Other than these two tiers, no additional discounts will be given for any reason.
All entry purchases are final and non-refundable. At this time there is no limit on the number of raffle tickets to be sold, but that is subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the Raffler.
Tickets can be purchased in person from Raffler or online (via PayPal, Venmo, or other electronic means), up until the drawing on September 17, 2023. The drawing is anticipated to occur at 7:00PM EDT, but may occur earlier or later on September 17, 2023, at the sole discretion of the Raffler.
Tickets are "bearer instruments" and as such are not transferable and may not be given as gifts to other individuals by the purchaser. The name associated with the ticket will be deemed the winner if the ticket is selected in the drawing.
Raffler will send confirmation of purchased tickets to the purchaser by electronic means (e.g. e-mail, text message, etc.). The purchaser will not need to print or retain any physical tickets. Only tickets actually sold and associated with a specific purchaser will be entered into the drawing.
The winner of the raffle will be determined by random drawing. The winner of the raffle will be announced immediately upon drawing, held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at approximately 7:00PM EDT, at the Forest Hill Pinball Crawl event being held at Rob's Arcade in Richmond, VA. The winning information will be posted on this website. Raffler reserves the right to post the winning information on social media sites (e.g Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Purchasers do not need to be present to win.
The winner of the raffle will receive the artwork shown above, and no other prize. There is no cash prize associated with this raffle. Net proceeds of the raffle will be donated to charity. The net proceeds of ticket sales will be determined by the number of tickets sold less the deduction of any quantity discounts, minus any processing fees and other direct raffle-related expenses.
Winner agrees to all raffle rules and restrictions as stated herein. Winner agrees to allow his or her name and photograph(s) to be published on this website and social media sites (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Winner will assume and be responsible for any federal, state and local taxes, including but not limited to all applicable sales, use, luxury, income, and special taxes associated with winning a raffle. Raffler specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties, including, and without limitations, warranties of merchantability.
The raffle winner must claim the prize within thirty (30) days of the drawing. If the winner does not claim the prize within thirty (30) days of the drawing, by responding to telephonic, email or other written notice from Raffler or otherwise, or the prize is refused by the winner, the prize will be forfeited and remain the property of Raffler.
If more than one name is noted as purchaser of a ticket, the first listed name shall be the purchaser. Raffler shall, will and can have no obligation for payment or delivery of any prize to any person other than the purchaser. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to allocate any such prize among the participants in any multiple party entries.
Any drawing may be postponed due to weather or any state of emergency declared by the City of Richmond, the Commonwealth of Virginia, or the United States. In such event, a new date, place and time for the drawing will be determined by Raffler, which will be announced on this website.
Purchasers of tickets, by participating in the raffle, release Raffler from any and all liability, loss or claim arising out of any raffle prize, expressly waive any such claim, and agree that the liability, if any, of Raffler shall be limited to the raffle ticket price paid.
Raffler is not eligible to win; however, family members of and those with significant relationships to Raffler are expressly eligible to win.
This raffle is void where prohibited.
