Wilmonda McDevitt

Wilmonda McDevitt, an alumna of the American School for the Deaf, is currently the Director of Student Life at the Texas School for the Deaf. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's in Social Work from Gallaudet University. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked in Student Life at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. Since 2011, Wilmonda has actively engaged with the National Student Life for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NSLDHH), having served as the chairperson for the NSLDHH conference in 2015 in Austin. She is Assistant Coordinator on the organization's board and contributes to the CEASD Accreditation team.

Besides her professional life, Wilmonda enjoys photography, hiking, and traveling. She resides in Austin with her wife, Jennifer Campero, their two boys, and three poodles.
