Joe DeFalco

Joe DeFalco, a dedicated professional, has dedicated 22 years of his career to serving the Ohio School for the Deaf. Starting as a member of the dorm staff, he steadily progressed to the position of Student Life Supervisor. In his current role, Joe provides valuable support to the staff while closely observing and overseeing the dorm programs. 

Recently, Joe embarked on a new chapter in his personal life by marrying his long-time girlfriend, Marie. Originally from New York, he made the decision to move to Ohio in 2000, where he found his passion for empowering deaf students. Joe's commitment to the deaf community is deeply rooted as he himself comes from a deaf family, being second generation. Out of his five children, four are also deaf, making him well-acquainted with the unique challenges and triumphs that the deaf community faces.
