Jay McChesney

Jay McChesney, Program Administrator of Student Life (Individual Life Skills Plan Coordinator/Summer Camps Coordinator). Jay has been working at Ohio School for the Deaf for 11 years in a few roles, from teacher aide to dorm staff to program administrator. He develops and assesses Independent Living Skills and SEL for residential students in his current position. During the summertime, he is Summer Camp Coordinator- observes the camps weekly, contacts parents, and conduct registrations, transportation, and supplies request.

He moved to Ohio from Arizona as a teen and graduated from Dublin Scioto High School. He’s a licensed cosmetologist. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his twin daughters, who are five years old; TV shows binge, watching, lying in a hammock, camping, and drawing.
