Poster/Podium Presentation Information

Oral Presentations:

• Please prepare a 15 minute presentation. Each speaker will be held to a strict 20 minute time restriction (15 minute talk, 5 minutes for questions). Please practice your presentation in advance to ensure you do not go over time.

• Send powerpoint presentations to aapschapterwvu@gmail.com by Thursday, November 10th.

• Presenters should bring a copy of their presentation on a flash drive and/or store a copy of their presentation using a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, etc). This will help us avoid any technical issues during the event.

• Presentations will be given using a PC. If you create your presentation using a Mac, we strongly recommend testing the presentation using a PC.

Poster Presentations:

• Posters should be no larger than 48"W x 36"H.

• Please prepare a 7-10 minute talk for poster judging.

• We will assign a number to each abstract on the day of the symposium. This will be available at registration.

• Assignment to Poster Session I or Poster Session II will be released by Thursday, November 10th.

• If you are presenting during Poster Session I, please set up your poster in the morning during registration (8:00 am - 9:00 am). If you are presenting during Poster Session II, please set up your poster during the lunch break (12:15 pm - 1:15 pm).
