[Abstract]

Both linguists and Speech Language pathologists work thoroughly with the theories and knowledge in phonetics and phonologies. In this talk, the application of phonetics and phonologies in speech language pathology will be introduced. More specifically, assessments and interventions that use phonetic and phonology knowledge for children with articulatory and phonology disorders will be discussed. In conclusion, the development of phonetic and phonology in Taiwanese children and the phonological patterns for children with articulatory and phonological disorders will be presented.
