Project Summary

For my capstone project, I wanted to arrange songs for the Queen Creek High School Jazz I Ensemble to play. I arranged three latin songs to fit the instrumentation of the band yet still stay true to the original sound of the songs. The three songs that I chose to arrange were "Si Una Vez" by Selena, "Huracán de Amor" by Camilo Sesto, and "Inolvidable" by Jenni Rivera. These songs cover a wide range of styles and you can learn more about each of my individual arrangements below. I am very proud of all of the work that I have put into this project and I hope that I can honor these artists that have left this world with my renditions of some of their best works.
